Kelly's Follies at Cats Pajamas on the Ocoee River. August 8, 2002

On August 8, 2002 at Cats Pajamas on the Ocoee (Tennessee, US), my wife, April, shot video of me paddling my squirt boat. The video clips and comments are here so I can learn from my mistakes and to make most everyone else chuckle. I wasn't having that great of a session. I was tired and stiff from paddling plastic the entire day before and I just could not get the feel for it. I'm finding that the transition from squirt kayak to plastic kayak and back to squirt kayak degrades my performance in both for a period of time. Usually for several hours. I was a little frustrated. On a good note, I cAME BACK the following Tuesday with a pair of real hand paddles and had one of my best session (too busy paddling to shoot video).
